Bucket Drops

  • We are closed from May 19 — 26 inclusive.
  • Bucket Drops arrive each Thursday at 7:00 p.m.,
  • Each weekly drop covers pickups taking place Friday through Sunday.
  • The next drop is on Thursday, May 28 for pickups taking place Friday, May 29 through Sunday, May 31.
  • Until the next drop begins, the previous week’s Bucket flavours will remain visible on the website marked as Sold Out. Some flavours may return for another week, while others rotate or change entirely with each new drop.
  • At checkout, you may leave your preferred pickup date in the order notes, and we will have your order freshly prepared and set aside for you within that timeframe.
  • If no pickup date is provided, orders will be prepared for next day pickup. Please allow approximately 24 hours from the time your order is placed.
  • All pickups take place from our porch pickup fridge in Pickering. Once ready, your order will be placed in the left porch fridge with your name on it and may be picked up anytime between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
  • Any extra Buckets available throughout the weekend will be placed in the porch fridge for first come, first serve pickup beginning each morning at 8:00 a.m.

MacKay’s Bakery is a Pickering based bakery rooted in old recipes and modern motherhood. We bake cookie pucks and cookie squares inspired by family tins, church basement tables, and the kind of care that carries through generational legacy. We believe baking is care across time. The recipes that once lived in our grandmothers’ kitchens now live at our own table, under soft shades of depression pink and beside a well worn tea cup, flour on our sleeves and toddlers underfoot. Built on the simple spirit of borrowing a cup of sugar and staying to talk a while, every batch is a small act of remembrance and a sincere offering of love.
